Zak Mascolo is the creative leader of TONI&GUY in both salons and academies nationally and is the integral lead in all collection and education decisions. With a firm belief that at the heart of creativity is a formal education, Zak helps hairdressers around the world find their individual creative voice through foundational and advanced curriculum.

Zak began his hairdressing career as a child, helping his father, Guy Mascolo, in his TONI&GUY salons. For nearly 19 years, Zak has used his talents and artistry to express his creativity through hairdressing. His accomplishments include leading the creative team and managing all classes for the TIGI Advanced Academy in New York for 10 years prior to returning to TONI&GUY full time in 2009. He was also the winner of the 2005 “Contemporary Classic” category for the North American Hairstyling Awards and was one of five finalists for the 2006 “North American Hairdresser of the Year.”

Zak credits his father and his uncle, Bruno Mascolo, who both overcame tremendous obstacles to get where they are today, as his professional and personal mentors. They, along with his uncle Anthony Mascolo, whom Zak calls “a creative mastermind”, inspire him to stay focused on his goals and his vision for TONI&GUY.

Vice President of Partnership Salons

In 1974, Paul Joseph entered the hairdressing industry in Orange County, CA; two years later he relocated himself to the Hawaiian Islands to become an education advocate bringing education to the islands and creating a following which lead to the opening of his own salon. Shortly thereafter, a colleague of his sent him TONI&GUY educational books and videos, thus striking Paul Josephs interest to fly to London to negotiate ‘One of the Biggest Educational Events’ with TONI&GUY in Honolulu. This event produced the Biggest Hair Show ever to be seen in the Hawaiian Islands. With the help of Paul Joseph, TONI&GUY was exposed by 3 major television networks, did the hair & makeup on 4 major magazines covers, and sold out their show and education event the next day. After the vast success of exposure for TONI&GUY in the Hawaiian Islands, at Bruno Mascolo’s request Paul Joseph took the TONI&GUY educational phenomenon across the United States and Canada--Hairdressing would never be the same. The tour across America left hairdresser wanting more and more. In 1984, Bruno Mascolo decided to move to America and invited Paul Joseph to work with him in creating the first TONI&GUY Hair Salon and Advance Training Center in Dallas, TX. Paul Joseph, Founding Director of TONI&GUY, joined Bruno Mascolo in expanding the culture of TONI&GUY with the first base of operations establishing in Dallas, TX, Paul Joseph is now an integral member of TONI&GUY International Artistic Team continually traveling to share the TONI&GUY education and culture which has always been to upgrade the salon industry. Paul Joseph has worked amongst some of the best salons in the America’s as an Educator for 20 years to being the voice behind Anthony Mascolo for shows internationally and nationally. Senior Vice President of Marketing and Education

Lenore has been involved in the hairdressing industry since 1978. Attracted to the education, unique philosophy, and culture of TONI&GUY, she joined the first salon in the US, in 1985, and achieved Best Stylist of the Year by 1987. She began to focus her career on education, helping to develop the methodology of TONI&GUY Hairdressing. This methodology created a four point system that made hairdressing easy for aspiring hairdressers to learn. She also became a member of the Artistic Team, traveling and demonstrating to salons across the nation. Ultimately, Lenore became involved with training the Artistic Team. Committed to the growth of the Salon Division, Lenore was named General Manager and focused on managing the Artistic Directors of each salon and creating a balance between business and artistry. She oversaw the educational department while coaching new salon partnerships on their path to a successful business with TONI&GUY. Adding to her role as General Manager, Lenore took the opportunity to manage the Marketing and Public Relations department in 2003. In 2006, Lenore was promoted to Vice President and continues to support quality, diversity, education, and open educational and artistic opportunities, helping to raise the standards of the hairdressing industry.

Co-President of Salon and Academy Division

Inspired by the creative and artistic ability of the Mascolo Brothers, Debbie began her career in hairdressing in England in 1979. Having completed a hairdressing apprenticeship Debbie went on to own and manage a salon. After relocating to the United States in 1991, Debbie joined TONI&GUY at the Sherry Lane salon in Dallas as a Salon Coordinator while waiting for her cosmetology license. Having studied business and accounting in college, Debbie was able to combine her love for business with her passion for hairdressing and was quickly promoted to Salon Director of the Sherry Lane Salon as soon as she received her TX license. Eighteen months later Debbie was promoted to Regional Salon Director overseeing the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex. In this role Debbie was instrumental in automating the salon division, implementing the computerized point of sale and appointment booking system in salons nationwide. In 1999, Debbie was promoted to the position of Managing Director of the Salon Division, in 2006 to Executive Vice President and in 2010 to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for both the salon and academy divisions where she is currently responsible for overseeing daily operations at all company owned locations and acts as a consultant for partnership salons & franchise academies nationwide. Debbie was inducted into the TONI&GUY Hall of Fame in 2003. Debbie's passion lies in developing strong leadership teams who help maintain the company culture as the salon & academy divisions grow.

Vice President of Education

Zoë Harte's hairdressing career spans nearly three decades. In 1985 Zoë helped establish the first TONI&GUY salon location in the U.S.A., working her way up through the ranks to become Salon Art Director, a position that required her to train all TONI&GUY apprentices and stylists at the Salon. During this time, Zoe began to standardize the training system by assisting in the creation of a specific written methodology and terminology of the classic TONI&GUY styles. The resulting training program ensured a consistent level of quality throughout the salons and remains the foundation for the current TONI&GUY training program. When TONI&GUY opened its first Academy in 1990, Zoë became the Advanced Education Director and created the class formats and curriculum that helped establish TONI&GUY Advanced Education as a leader in hairdressing education. In 2001 Zoë joined the TIGI Education Division overseeing both U.S. and International educational events and the TIGI Ambassador program. In 2007 Zoë returned to TONI&GUY to oversee the Advanced and Basic educational systems as well as the TONI&GUY Artistic Team training. Zoë has been a featured artist on several video collections over the years and in 2002 was inducted into the TONI&GUY Hall of Fame for her Artistic Leadership.

Vice President of Legal & Human Resources

Kimber Summers joined TONI&GUY as Director of Human Resources in 1998. Having experience in both the beauty industry and retail sector, Kimber found niche at TONI&GUY, combining her knowledge and experience in human resources with an understanding of management and operations. Kimber attained her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas in 1993, and while working full-time, continued her education at the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, from which Kimber earned her juris doctorate in 2000. As Director of Human Resources, Kimber worked diligently to add to the benefits offered by the company, and expanded the human resources, payroll and benefits departments in order to better serve TONI&GUY team members nationwide. Additionally, Kimber has worked closely with department leaders company-wide in an effort to combine best human resources practices with successful operations. In 2009, following the sale of the TIGI division, Kimber expanded her role with the company by taking on the legal, insurance and risk management areas of the company.

Bruno's visionary leadership nurtured and developed TONI&GUY resulting in its phenomenal growth and success. Bruno's involvement in the hairdressing field spans three decades. He began his career working alongside brothers Toni and Guy in the original TONI&GUY salon in London. Following in his father's footsteps, Bruno set about to learn as much as possible about the business. It was Bruno's talent for marketing and business acumen that helped TONI&GUY establish its worldwide reputation as the most innovative chain of salons. Mr. Mascolo established the Artistic Team which traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe representing the talent and innovation for which TONI&GUY has become known. The Artistic Team further solidified TONI&GUY's reputation for outstanding education and was inducted into The British Hairdressing Hall of Fame in 2001. In 2005, Bruno received the prestigious North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) Hall of Leaders Award. Bruno believes that the most fulfilling part of building a business is helping others accomplish their dreams.

Anthony is younger brother of CEO Bruno Mascolo. He is the Worldwide Creative Director and further proof of the depth of talent in the Mascolo family. Co-President of Salon and Academy Division

Kenny is a leader in the hairdressing industry with more than twenty years' experience, nineteen of them in education. Kenny has trained hairdressers all over the world and has been an influential member of the TONI&GUY family since 1986. Kenny's appointment as Vice President overseeing Academy Operations in 2000 resulted in higher student enrollment numbers, higher attendance rates, more successful pass rates on State Boards and increased revenue. Kenny has been instrumental in the creation of TONI&GUY education in the Basic and Advanced programs. He is directly responsible for national growth and expansion of the Academies, licensing and strategic partnership agreements for schools, strategic planning, personnel management, and continual development of the Academy programs. Kenny has been an integral part of the TONI&GUY Artistic team for more than 20 years and continues to be an active component of annual Artistic Team Training for TONI&GUY. Kenny is a certified cosmetologist in three states. His involvement with thousands of salon owners has resulted in his deep understanding of educational needs and requirements for today's hairdressers. Kenny stays current in industry trends and keeps his skills sharp through continual education and participation in international hair shows. He co-founded the successful TONI&GUY Ambassador program, which allows hairdressers from salons other than TONI&GUY to become involved in the coveted TIGI International Art Team by supporting TIGI product sales.
